Danie was born in the west of Ireland and moved to the UK to study in 2010. Since meeting her now husband in Wiltshire while both working as teachers, they moved together to Stratford-upon-Avon in 2014 where they have very happily lived with their two children since.

Career History
Having completed a BSc in Pharmaceutical and Industrial Chemistry in the University of Limerick, Dani moved to the UK in 2010 to complete her Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Chemistry at the University of Bristol. Having taught GCSE Science and A Level Chemistry in comprehensive, grammar and independent schools in Bristol, Wiltshire and most recently Warwickshire, Dani took a career break at the end of 2016 when her first child was born. She now works as the Development Officer for a school in Stratford.
Community Interests
Dani is the Chairperson of the Friends of Welcombe Hills School where she actively fundraises for whole-school projects as well as organising events throughout the year. Dani has also been a School Governor for a primary school in the town. Dani is a co-director of the Stratford Family Club, a Stratford-based CIC set up in 2024 to provide children and families with social groups to attend throughout the town.
Leisure Activities
Dani is a keen baker and is always looking for a reason to bake for family and friends. Dani enjoys attending Wesley's Toddler Group with her daughter where she is also a volunteer. Dani also enjoys supporting local cafes and restaurants in her limited free time.
