Councillor Lindsay MacDonald was born in and grew up in Australia, he came to England in 1976 on a world cricket tour.

Career History

Lindsay has degrees in Science and Engineering from Sydney University. He was worked for 20 years in industrial R & D then as a Professor in three Universities. Lindsay completed his PhD at University College London (UCL) where he is now an Honorary Professor.

Community Interests

Is a Trustee of the Stratford-upon-Avon Society.
Was a Trustee of the Stratford Town Trust (2018-2022).
Has been a member of Holy Trinity Church PCC (2017-2022).
Is a member of the Committee of the Shakespeare Club.
Is a member of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
