Career History

Letty has always been passionate about public service. After graduating with a Degree in Economics and Politics, she started her career in finance at Waltham Forest Council. She went on to do a Masters in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security and then worked for the Department for International Development before moving to management consulting.

Letty has now moved into the charity sector and works for Food Foundation. This role involves campaigning for better access to affordable, healthy and nutritious food for all - especially during this Cost of Living Crisis.

Letty regularly volunteers at the Fred Winter Centre supporting Stratford's Foodbank. She is also passionate about local issues like improving the natural environment, reducing anti-social behaviour, championing local people and community projects.
