ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14

 

 

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MEER STREET, STRATFORD UPON AVON

 

 

Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Order closing Meer Street, Stratford upon Avon from Rother Street to Henley Street to vehicular traffic.

 

The closure is required to safely facilitate works for the installation of a road crossing and removal of spoil during excavations.

 

The Order will commence on 16 September 2017 and will last for a period of 18 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.  However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 October 2017.

 

Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

 

An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Meer Street, Wood Street, Market Cross, Union Street, Guild Street, Birmingham Road, Arden Street, Greenhill Street (and vice versa).
