Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council serves as the local governing body for this historic market town, best known as the birthplace for William Shakespeare.
The Town Council is committed to preserving the town’s rich heritage while supporting a thriving, modern community, the Council oversees local services, events and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. The Council plays a key role in ensuring Stratford-upon-Avon remains a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and explore.
